Rabindra Jayanti Celebrated at Dinhata Throughout the Day

Webdesk, TNI Dinhata 9^th May, 2017: The Rabindra Jayanti was celebrated throughout Dinhata today. The 156^th Birth anniversary celebrations were organized by various cultural organizations of Dinhata. Among them the main program was organized by Dinhata Doinik, a voluntary organization.

In the program there were items like Sit & Draw competition, Dancing, Reciting etc. Mr. Sanjit Karmakar told TNI that “Every year we celebrate the birth anniversary of Rabindra Nath Tagore. The entire day is celebrated to mark his birth anniversary”. Another organization i.e. North Bengal Fine Arts Society of Dinhata also celebrated the Rabindra Jayanti.
